Welcome to FACT’s newest feature: the weekly video round-up.

As we note at the end of every year, music videos have never been better. But too often, music videos — along with documentaries, live sets and interview clips — get lost in the shuffle of news and new music.

With that in mind, FACT is doing what it does for mixes, mixtapes, vinyl and more: rounding up the internet’s best videos on a weekly basis. And to remove our bias, we won’t be including our own content — you’ll have to stay tuned to FACT TV for all your Against The Clock, FACT Freestyle and Big Narstie needs.

Kanye West
‘All Day’ at the BRIT Awards

After showing his softer side on ‘Only One’ and ‘FourFiveSeconds’, Yeezus has risen again in recent live performances on SNL and at the BRITs. While ‘Wolves’ was haunting and claustrophobic, ‘All Day’ is epic in scale: backed by 100+ black-clad Londoners (including more than a couple of grime stars) and a couple of ceiling-singing blowtorches, Kanye reminds us what a rockstar looks like.

A$AP Ferg
‘Dope Walk’
Dir: Matt Starr

The Trap Lord takes model-actress-singer Cara DeLevingne to New York Fashion Week via Facetime, dope walking down runways and dark corridors and running into Kanye, Puffy and Rihanna along the way. He mans an MTV microphone at one point, bringing back memories of pre-reality TV-era MTV.

Skin Town
‘Ice Crystal Palace’
Dir: DJ Bongwater

More than a year after dropping their debut The Room, Skin Town share a video for lead single ‘Ice Crystal Palace’, joining footage of singer Grace Hall in a Jason mask, L.A. aerial shots, found footage and glacial backdrops in a tribute to Leelah Alcorn and “gay, transgender, and gender non binary people everywhere.”

Boots
Motorcycle Jesus
Dir: Boots

Perhaps inspired by one-time collaborator Beyoncé, singer-songwriter Boots delivers a visual album featuring five of his songs (plus a contribution by El-P). After a tying-off bait-and-switch, the artist-formerly-known-as Jordan Asher heads into the desert, encounters French phantoms, a son of anarchy and various relics in disrepair. The music — which comes in a shade of grey between Jack White and the Black Keys — isn’t quite our thing, and his reach might exceed his grasp, but can’t fault his ambition.

The Prodigy
‘Wild Frontier’
Dir: Mascha Halberstad

The new Prodigy tracks haven’t done much for us, but at least the videos are entertaining. ‘Wild Frontier’ gets a Claymation-styled clip, as anthropomorphic animals face off against a pair of hunters who get more than they bargained for. Not safe for children.

Cassius Select
‘He Ain’t Worth’
Dir: Mattematrix and Dennis Vera

Dancer Ylva Falk takes on the fractured rhythms of Cassius Select’s ‘He Ain’t Worth’, battling the liquid metal, 3D renderings and digital sprites in the latest Unknown To The Unknown clip.

John Wiese
‘Wind Changed Direction’

A sound installation is — by it’s very nature — difficult to capture on film. This footage for the four-channel installation that became the opener on L.A.-based composer John Wiese’s new album Deviate From Balance does a good job, though, capturing its effect on Getty Center patrons.

Egyptrixx
‘Transfer of Energy’
Dir: ANF

Journey to the world of Halocline Trance in the latest collaboration between Egyptrixx and ANF. The visual artist’s digital geometry bubbles, explodes and metastasizes as the camera captures futuristic dystopias and cellular degeneration.

Big Sean
‘Dark Sky (Skyscrapers)’

“I started rapping Biggie Smalls in the basement,” raps Big Sean. “And now we headed to the tallest skyscrapers.” The video for the lead cut on his new album takes those lyrics literally, as Sean starts from the bottom and ascends to a rooftop in a grimy, abandoned building that could only be in Detroit.

J.K. The Reaper
‘Underseas’
Dir: Chris X

Denzel Curry associate J.K. The Reaper reveals the video for a standout from last year’s Almost Angelic EP. The C9 rapper’s verses outpace the subtle video, but we had to include the week’s second nod to Jason Voorhees.
