Berlin’s Kreuzberg district has a new synth studio available for hire.

Techno titan Peter Van Hoesen has opened up the Handwerk Audio space alongside Exercise One’s Marco Freivogel and Ricardo De Azcuenaga of the birdsmakingmachine label.

Handwerk Audio is not a typical recording studio. Instead, it is an enviable collection of synthesizers and drum machines that can be accessed subject to an appointment. Producers who hire out the space can bring their laptop, plug into the patchbay and record their own sessions.

The equipment available in the studio includes gear from ARP, RolandMoog and Korg, with the audio conversion that gets the music on to your hard drive said to be “mastering grade.”

You can check out the full list of equipment below, and visit Handwerk Audio’s website here. [via Resident Advisor]
