The rapper’s feud with Ross has landed him a court date in June.

50 Cent’s had so many feuds there’s even a Wikipedia page dedicated to them, but the fallout from his feud with Rick Ross has landed him a court date, according to the New York Daily News.

The feud was sparked when Ross accused the artist, otherwise known as Curtis Jackson, of – yes -looking at him the wrong way the BET Awards in 2009. The ongoing feud eventually led Jackson to upload a sex tape to YouTube in revenge featuring Lastonia Leviston, ex-girlfriend of Ross and mother to one of his children.

Leviston sued the rapper for emotional distress in 2010 after he posted the video, which saw her having sex with an ex-boyfriend, Maurice Murray. Leviston said that the mental and emotional distress almost led her to commit suicide.

According to court papers, the video found its way into Jackson’s hands through Murray, who gave him the tape in 2009 after he recognised Leviston as Ross’s ex-girlfriend. Jackson blurred out Murray’s image but not Leviston’s, altering the video to include himself as his “Pimpin’ Curly” character to taunt Ross before uploading it to YouTube, where it amassed 3.2 million viewers.

Jackson previously tried to have the case dismissed but proved unsuccessful. Jury selection for the trial will start on May 26, and the two-week trial will follow in June. [via HipHopDX]
