The ever-eclectic Standon Calling has just added some serious rave action to its 10th birthday bill.
Joining the line-up of the Hertfordshire festival is ex-Orbital producer and dance figurehead Paul Hartnoll, who’ll bring his solo project 8:58, unveiled last year, to the Big Top stage.
Meanwhile Hot Chip offshoot The 2 Bears will showcase their 909-fuelled jacking house at Standon Calling’s nightclub The Cowshed, where Maribou State, Severino of Horse Meat Disco, Kidnap Kid, Jax Jones are also on the decks. Running from dusk till dawn, The Cowshed will be hosted by the likes of Bondax & Friends, Sink The Pink and Gilles Peterson & Patrick Forge.
Elsewhere, Manc punks PINS have been added to The Last Dance Saloon, the stage curated by the Bella Union label, alongside Ezra Furman and The Magic Numbers.
The line-up of the festival’s 10th anniversary edition already includes Basement Jaxx, The Horrors, Little Dragon and Hercules & Love Affair, among many more.
