The company’s latest device for digital DJs will be released in May.

Previewed last month at the WMC in Miami, Native Instruments has now confirmed full details of its latest DJ controller for Traktor, the Kontrol D2.

As RA reports, the D2 has all the functions outlined when it was first previewed, including an LCD screen for track info, a touch strip for control and the ability to control two decks from one controller. It’s also compatible with the company’s recently announced Stems audio format, which allows DJs to play tracks split into four separate parts for remixing on the fly.

The Kontrol D2 will be available on May 4 at a suggested retail price of $499. Until then, you can get a better look at the controller in action via the official video below.
