Newcastle’s 586 Records is having an “All you can carry for £10” sale

By , Apr 20 2015

The northeast vinyl specialist is flogging a huge collection for silly prices this week.

Newcastle’s 586 Records sidestepped the Record Store Day hysteria this year and instead offered a bulk-buy sale of secondhand gems at bargain prices. Diggers can pick up as much as they can carry for just £10, or get a bag of around 100 discs for £20.

The 6000+ record collection was formerly owned by a member of 808 State (their exact identity is being kept quiet) and includes loads of dance 12″s from the 80s and 90s and a selection of more rock-oriented stuff as well, as owner Antony Daly told FACT.

The sale continues tomorrow (April 21) until Thursday at 586 Records, Commercial Union House, 39 Pilgrim Street. Head to the shop’s Facebook for information.
