A team of Chicago collaborators get weird.

Mint Club. (mind the period) is the duo of Bengfang and Justin ‘ZIP’ Warren, two Chicago-based producers with a taste for experimental electronics and warped hip-hop beats that live in a space reminiscent of citymates The-Drum and Supreme Cuts.

Their debut EP is due soon; preview it with the video for ‘Tussin’, featuring Chicago vocalist Khallee (who also has an EP coming up). As expected, the syrupy R&B jam takes it name from a Robitussin-fueled drinking session. The video (a collaboration between the three artists and director Wojciech Powalka) mixes fetishes with prom nite detritus — and the strangest way to ash a blunt that we’ve ever seen.
