Yesterday, Slug Christ released his masterful The Crucifixion of Rapper Extraordinaire, Slug Christ album. He also revealed the first video for the project, a short film for eery ambient track ‘Crucifixion Day’. In the film, Slug Christ is born, bears his cross and encounters a mysterious, mushroom-eating woman (the Whore of Babylon, perhaps?), with the lo-fi, damaged VHS aesthetic that we’ve come to expect from his videos.
