Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa have launched DJ careers

Have them play your party – for a five-figure sum.

Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa have reportedly followed in Snoop Dogg’s footsteps by launching DJ careers.

Despite being amateurs on the decks, both rappers have been lining up gigs and are on the search for more lucrative bookings, TMZ reports. Wayne has set his price at $60,000 for a set, while Wiz – playing as DJ Daddy Cat – wants $25,000. Both are also asking for the usual A-list nonsense like first class air travel and VIP treatment.

TMZ ‘s report implies that Wiz and Wayne will be making their debut on the same night at Orange County club Heat, which will be something to behold. It’s a solid business move, but the wannabe superstar DJs are still nowhere near the big league – Paris Hilton reportedly earns up to a million dollars a set.
