Fans demand a new release of Warp’s increasingly rare LP.

It’s almost a rite of passage for a record collector to come across that one rare LP you desperately want and will never be able to afford. That’s clearly been the case for some fans of Lifestyles Of The Laptop Café, the long out-of-print solo album from Drexicya‘s James Stinson which comes with a high asking price on Discogs.

Now one fan has taken matters into his own hands and turned to Change.org with the hopes of finally snagged an affordable copy of the LP. Glasgow’s Stuart Chalmers has created a petition to ask Warp Records to finally reissue the record citing the recent success of their Boards Of Canada reissues and the high prices sellers are demanding on the Stinson original.

Your move, Warp.
