The TDE rapper fires off a sequel to the Good Kid M.a.a.d. City highlight.

Jay Rock’s verse was the cherry on top of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Money Trees’, but in the three years since that head-turning performance we’ve not heard a lot from the Black Hippy member – his planned second album failed to materialise in 2014, though we did hear the single ‘Pay For It’.

Reprising the flow he worked for Kendrick’s track, Jay Rock has now unveiled ‘Money Trees Deuce’, a pensive follow-up that leans on melancholy chords and muted jazz horns. The track was produced by Flippa and J Proof – stream it below.
