‘Broken Flowers’ genius Danny L Harle has done a ridiculous trance-pop remix.

‘Shine’ is a track by Years & Years, the synthpop trio who won the BBC Sound of 2015 poll and have since hit number one in the UK with ‘King’ and sold a staggering amount of records. The PC Music squire – who’s previously remixed Panda Bear and Kero Kero Bonito – cracked his knuckles and reached for his pitch-shifter for this rework – a giddy blast of Eurodance splattered with parping synths.

Harle’s version of ‘Shine’ comes ahead of Years & Years’ debut album Communion, due on July 10, and the band’s sold-out shows at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on June 12 and 13.

In other PC Music news, last month they baffled us with their multimedia happening Pop Cube, while SOPHIE and Mad Decent pop star Liz have just teamed up to soundtrack a Samsung commercial.
