Roc Jiménez de Cisneros and Stephen Sharp take their “computer music for hooligans” to new Greek label Hypermedium.

EVOL – the maniacs who brought us a 301-track, 14-minute acid house mixtape – return with an EP of “messed up rave archetypes and boing perversions” this week, following quickly after the Spanish-Scottish pair’s Purple Melters 12″ on iDEAL Recordings.

Melting Pinkness contains four tracks of “pleated, relentless patterns and meticulously crafted phase modulations” manifesting as “twisted acid bangers”, they say, plus a locked groove on each side of the vinyl. The results are very weird indeed, as you can hear in one of the untitled tracks below.

Get the EP now on limited edition 12″ from Hypermedium and check out EVOL’s FACT mix from 2012.
