A few years back, Kode9 uploaded a bunch of past radio shows and mixes to his Soundcloud – and we guess he’s back in that mood.

This morning, he re-upped a classic 2007 Rinse show with Flying Lotus. To set the scene, 2007 was when a lot of not-quite-dubstep-in-retrospect producers were adding colour to the dubstep scene, several of them (Rustie, Ikonika, Darkstar, Zomby) either releasing or planning releases for Kode9’s Hyperdub label. Influences from Glasgow (Hud Mo, Mike Slott), Bristol (Joker) and LA (FlyLo, Samiyam, etc) were becoming increasingly important in London, and this show… well, it kind of brought everything together.
