Eminem was a special guest on Only in Monroe.

Stephen Colbert is hosting a late night talk show on public access television. As part of a test run before he takes the reins on David Letterman’s vacated late night show in September, Colbert hosted a special episode of Only in Monroe, a talk show broadcast in the Michigan area.

Michigan native Eminem was Colbert’s special guest. The pair discussed a variety of Michigan-related topics, from traffic on the I-75 to Bob Seger. “Are you one of the slow talking rappers, or one of the fast talking rappers?” Colbert asked, before stressing the importance of Em having a backup plan in case “the dream dies.”
