The connections between London’s grime scene and US hip-hop continue to strengthen.

This time it was Drake, who has never shied from showing his appreciation for grime, inviting Skepta on stage for a performance of ‘Shutdown’ during his set at London’s Wireless festival last night.

The Canadian rapper brought Skepta to the stage after a short introduction and the crowd showed their appreciation for the surprise appearance. After the performance Drake asked them to give it up for one of the “best to do this shit.”
