Watch Sarah Angliss in the Moog Sound Lab at Supersonic Festival

Jaw-dropping analogue acrobatics from the theremin maestro.

Birmingham’s Supersonic Festival teamed up with the brilliant Moog Sound Lab this year to host a four-week artist residency where musicians could get their mitts grubby with analog sound-scaping, synthesis and effects using the iconic synth manufacturer’s gear.

Composer, sound historian, roboticist and theremin genius Sarah Angliss was among the artists let loose in the Moog Sound Lab at Birmingham City University – watch her pull music out of thin air in the video above.

After that, see what hooded enigma Gazelle Twin and masked disco duo Free School came up with in their sessions in the Lab.
