German downbeat pioneers mark 20 years in the game.

Munich’s Compost Records has announced Soul/Love: 20 Years Of Compost Records, a book release and digital compilation that mark the label’s two decades of releases and parties.

The book features photos, interviews, flyers and contributions from artists and friends of the label including Sven Vath, Laurent Garnier, Gilles Peterson and Danny Krivit. Each book comes with a download code for Compost 500, a three-part, 40-track compilation that showcases the label’s unreleased tracks, founder Michael Reinboth’s favourites and hidden gems.

Contributors to the compilation include John Talabot, Carl Craig, Todd Terje, Move D and the Compost Allstars.

Soul/Love: 20 Years Of Compost Records is available to pre-order from the Compost shop now.

Alongside this release the label is also celebrating its anniversary with a string of parties in Germany and Switzerland. The last two shows of this celebratory tour are in Freiburg, July 25, and Cologne, August 1. [Via Resident Advisor]
