The Tool frontman revives his long-running side project.

Maynard James Keenan’s Puscifer project will release its third album, Money Shot, on October 30. “It’s extremely satisfying to witness simple conversations and ideas transform into completed sonic landscapes,” he tells Rolling Stone. “And to have these stories go above and beyond the initial ideas makes my grumpy heart swell three sizes.”

Watch the video for lead track ‘Grand Canyon’ below. Originally a fictional band, Puscifer appeared on Mr. Show in 1995. The band released its debut album V Is for Vagina in 2007 and Conditions of My Parole in 2011. While Keenan remains the band’s only constant member, the current roster includes Carina Round, Mat Mitchell, Juliette Commagere, Devo Keenan, Tim Alexander, Jon Theodore, Jeff Friedl and Matt McJunkins.

Puscifer earned its spot in our list of Tool’s strangest moments, while Tool landed in the 40 best post-metal records ever made.
