Watch a “happy virus” contaminate a digital landscape.

Sydney producer (and Ryan Hemsworth collaborator) Wave Racer has teamed with vocalist B▲BY for the impossibly bright ‘Flash Drive’, a song that combines maximalist electro-pop, Jersey club and elastic Liquid Sword bass.

The video, directed by 3D artists Anny Wang and Tim Söderström, follows a host of hyperreal artifacts as they tear through a neon digital landscape. “We wanted the video to radiate activity and energy, to match Wave Racer’s explosive arrangements, while exploring the world of the microchip,” the directors write. “Venturing through a digital landscape that has been contaminated with a happy virus.”

Wave Race’s debut solo EP, Flash Drive, is due out on October 16 via Future Classic.
