Rapper shares footage of an altercation with US Customs officials.

Wiz Khalifa was handcuffed and forced to the ground by US customs officials at Los Angeles international airport on Saturday. The 27-year-old said the incident occurred after he refused to get off his Segway hoverboard.

Khalifa posted footage of the incident to his Instagram account. The video shows the rapper being pinned to the floor by six US Customs officials. One officer tells him to “stop resisting”, to which he replies: “I’m not resisting, sir.”

After the altercation, Khalifa took to Twitter to defend the portable transportation device, which has also become popular among many members of the UK’s grime scene.

“I stand for our generation and our generation is gonna be riding hover boards,” the rapper tweeted. Watch a video of the incident below. [via The Guardian]
