dJJ has spent 2015 proving that DIY house music can be unpretentious, unflashy and tons of fun without descending into the realms of dull, “raw” 909 jams. His guest set on Radar Radio was one of our favourite mixes of the week, and his new single ‘just a lil’, released through Crazylegs, is a real gem.

The video for ‘just a lil’, produced by FACT TV and directed by Elliot Holbrow, is a celebration of family and friends, shot on the Welsh coast where dJJ lives. Centered around a trip to a theme park with a psychedelic finish, the end result is something like a David Morales video on the cheap – just like J’s music, we guess. Keep an eye out for guest appearances by producers Sudanim, Gage, Finn and ISLAND.
