NBC says Kanye will perform material from his forthcoming album.

Kanye West will attend a fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee on October 10. The event, which is billed as an afternoon concert, will take place at the 2,300-seat Warfield Theater in San Francisco. NBC reports that Kanye “is expected to perform songs from his latest album, Swish.” Tickets for the concert range from $250 to $10,000 each.

Kanye signalled his intention to run for President of the United States in 2020 at the MTV Video Music Awards in August. Since then, The White House and Donald Trump have both responded to Kanye’s bid to enter the Oval Office.

Earlier this week, current Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said he was “willing to give [Kanye] a chance” as President some day. [via Pitchfork]
