The worst kept secret in indie has been confirmed.

90s shoegaze outfit Lush are to reunite for their first live show in 20 years. The group will play London’s Roundhouse on May 6, 2016, joined by Justin Welch of Elastica on drums. Ahead of that, their label 4AD will reissue their back catalogue in a deluxe box set this Christmas.

“The opportunities and practicalities of reforming Lush meant that for 20 years it was an impossible undertaking,” said Miki Berenyi, the band’s frontwoman. “But we all loved what we did, and the time is finally right for us to do it again.”

The limited-edition boxset, titled Chorus, will contain the band’s early compilation Gala, their three studio albums, B-sides collection Topolino, and a selection of rarities.

Update: After the first show sold out in a matter of hours, a second show at Roundhouse has been announced for May 7. Tickets are on sale now.
