St. Germain is the upcoming eponymous fourth studio album by French deep house veteran Ludovic Navarre. The album is Navarre’s first as St. Germain since the release of Tourist in 2000. His previous two full-lengths, Tourist and 1995’s Boulevard, are certified classics within the realms of deep house. St. Germain is set to arrive on October 9 via Primary Society.

For the new album, Navarre worked alongside a handful of African musicians. Traditional Malian instruments like the kora, the balafon and the n’goni were used alongside electric guitars, pianos, saxophones and electronic loops. The self-titled LP collects eight tracks, including lead single ‘Real Blues’, which samples a vocal from late American blues musician Lightnin’ Hopkins.
