For their latest release, Peak Oil are indulging in some especially psychedelic dance music. On his new release, Florin Büchel is crafting techno inspired by the CIA’s experiments with LSD as a mind control drug in the 1950s. Büchel adopts the project’s name Operation Midnight Climax as a moniker which fits with the appropriately paranoid tone of a track like ‘Behavioral Engineering’.
