The Chemical Brothers, Evian Christ and many more join the tour later this year.

Barcelona’s Sónar festival has announced details of the conference programme for its South American dates, taking place in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago and Bogotá from November 24 to December 7.

Along with previously announced headlines The Chemical Brothers and Hot Chip, the dates will feature appearances from Evian Christ, Kiasmos, Modeselektor, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Pional and more. The tour will also feature prominent talent from the continent, including Peru’s Dengue Dengue Dengue!, Colombia’s Frente CumbeiroBomba Estéreo and many others.

Sónar will use the opportunity to bring its tech conference Sónar+D to São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile. The programme will include the creation of music using outer space sounds collected form the Atacama astronomical observatory, presentations from Atom™ & Robin Fox, littleBits, the famous Music Hack Day and more.
