Lil Wayne’s Miami Beach mansion was raided by police on Tuesday.

The cops were executing a judge’s order to enter Wayne’s home as part of a repossession stemming from unpaid debts.

Last month, Lil Wayne was sued by a private jet company for failing to maintain the $55,000-per-month lease on his Gulfstream II. A judge ruled that Mr. Carter would have to pay $2 million on late fees and court costs.

“To recover that cash, Signature Group asked [Miami-Dade County Judge Lisa] Walsh to authorize a “break order,” basically giving them permission to storm Wayne’s house — with or without permission — to obtain his assets,” Miami New Times reports.

The Signature Group initially had their request denied as the judge required proof that the Young Money rapper had property inside the $4 million home. The judge authorised the raid on Friday, once Signature Group obtained photographs proving that Wayne had assets inside the house, which is currently up for sale.
