We’ve been stanning for Awful Records since day dot, so you can bet we’ll be down the front for the Atlanta label’s debut London showcase this Saturday.

Hosted as part of the ongoing Clock Strikes 13 series, which has seen labels like Príncipe Discos and 1080p take over the city’s finest small venues this autumn, the Awful Records night is headlined, naturally, by label head and hip-hop thoughtleader Father, who dropped his short but sweet Papicodone EP a couple of months back.

Accompanying him on their maiden UK voyage is the Darkwave Duchess herself, singer and horror fanatic Abra, plus the sinister yet seductive charms of KeithCharles Spacebar.

Awful’s showcase takes place at Village Underground, kicking off at 10pm. Head to RA to grab a ticket.
