Farley & Heller and David Morales remix the late Chicago icon.

Def Mix will release the Boyz! EP from Director’s Cut, a collaboration between Frankie Knuckles and Eric Kupper, at the end of this month.

The Chicago house legend passed away in April of last year, but ‘Boyz!’ will be available on wax for the first time at the end of November. The track features the vocals of Jamie Principle, who collaborated with Knuckles on his iconic singles ‘Your Love’ and ‘Baby Wants To Ride’. The A-side of the record is reserved for a dub version of the track by British duo Farley & Heller. The Director’s Cut original appears on the flip, alongside a ‘Red Zone’ mix from NYC lynchpin David Morales.

All proceeds from the release will be spit between The Frankie Knuckles Foundation and The Frankie Knuckles Fund. The legendary selector’s record collection now resides on the third floor of Chicago’s Stony Island Arts Bank.

Boyz! will be released via Def Mix on November 30. Preview the EP below. [via RA]
