Social streaming service audiosplitter.fm are searching for the best new electronic music producers.

For the unfamiliar, audiosplitter is a streaming service that focuses on the social side of being a music addict, bringing together the music you love and allowing you to discover music shared by others.

audiosplitter’s competition focuses on providing up-and-coming producers with the support and equipment they need to take their music to the next level and get it heard. The winning producers will receive £1.5k’s worth of gear from Native Instruments, a headline performance at an event full of industry heads and heavy promotion to the audiosplitter community. Runners up will also receive £500 worth of Native Instruments equipment.

Judging the entries are globe-trotting DJ and Numbers resident Jackmaster, Grade MGMT (the team behind Jackmaster, Seth Troxler and more), Huw Owen (producer of Radio 1’s Essential Mix) and Alex Egan (label manager at Phonica Records and founder of Utter Records). To enter the competition, producers simply post YouTube or SoundCloud links to their tracks to audiosplitter, and a shortlist will be created as the audiosplitter community up-votes their favourite works. From that, the panel will decide the winners and who gets the gig, the equipment, and the online promotion.
