The Horror Master will take his newly hatched live show to the UK next year.

John Carpenter has been named to headline ATP’s Halloween extravaganza Release The Bats in 2016. Taking place in at The Albert Hall in Manchester and The Troxy in London, the gigs will see Carpenter perform a musical retrospective of his horror soundtrack work, his debut studio album Lost Themes, plus brand new compositions.

Both venues will be given a Halloween makeover for the occasion, and fans are encouraged to dress up accordingly. Grab tickets for the Manchester date on October 29 and the London date on October 31.

The shows follow Carpenter’s planned live debut at next year’s ATP Iceland.

Last year FACT spoke to John Carpenter about soundtracks, video games and why he’s “ready to have Beyoncé open for me”.
