Long Beach rapper Vince Staples has had a strong 2015, culminating with the release of his Summertime ’06 album in June.
Never one to shy away from using his new found fame to speak on his past experiences growing up in Long Beach, Staples recently sat down with CNN to discuss the conscious rap tag, police interactions, and drugs – the latter two running themes in his album.
