Nurse With Wound, Karen Gwyer and a Gil Scott-Heron celebration also confirmed.

Convergence, London’s multi-venue festival of music, art and technology, has announced some pretty exciting new events for its third edition, which takes place from March 10-20.

Baltimore’s restless pop innovator Dan Deacon has been named as the festival’s artist in residence, leading a Masterclass with Guildhall Young Arts Academy as well as bringing his interactive show to Village Underground.

Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood will be in town for the first full-length UK performance of Junun with Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur and the Rajasthan Express. The life and legacy of poet and musician Gil Scott-Heron will be celebrated in a day of talks, screenings and performances culminating in a live performance featuring guest vocalists Kwabs, Jamie Woon, Nadine Shah, Loyle Carner and Gwilym Gold.

Nurse With Wound, Colin Stetson and Anna Von Hausswolff will also be playing live, and Factory Floor will curate a night with Shit Robot, Karen Gwyer and Kara-Lis Coverdale.

Those additions join a line-up that already includes Lamb, The Gaslamp Killer, of Montreal, !!!, Omar Souleyman, KUTMAH and more – check out the full line-up on the Convergence website.

Convergence takes place venues around the city on March 10-20. Tickets are available now.
