It even comes with a sample of DJ Khaled.

The selection of HTML5 browser instruments has been gradually building of late, but a new instrument called Sampulator gives you a whole set of samples and basic sequencer to play with.

Sampulator has four banks of sounds, each of which correspond to a different row on your computer’s keyboard. You can record everything from drums and synths to a one-shot of DJ Khaled and layer them up to make increasingly complex loops.

If you want to save or share your creation, you can do so by logging in via Twitter. There are also a number of pre-made tracks like ‘Malibu Forever’ you can listen to for inspiration, which might be necessary given how tricky it is to play with your keyboard.

Sampulator largely confines you to a palette of hip-hop and R&B, but if you’re looking for a way to waste 10 minutes at work while looking busy, you can try it out here. If you just want to make some techno, try Acid Machine. [via The Next Web]
