The Speechless EP is released on January 30.

Hailing from Bristol, Trans A.M. are part of the city’s wave of young producers twisting techno and club music into new shapes.

There’s echoes of Batu, Hodge and even Surgeon in the duo’s tough, syncopated rhythms, though Trans A.M.’s mechanical beat construction and ear-splitting frequencies are perhaps more aligned with Jersey club than dubstep or industrial techno.

The duo’s debut release, Speechless, is released through the fledgling SPE:C label on January 30, and features two tracks of punishing club music – stream the storming B-side, ‘I Feel As Though’ below, and pre-order the 12″ here.
