Naomi Watts (Birdman, King Kong) and Tom Sizemore (True Romance, Heat) are the latest additions to the cast of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks reboot.

There’s no word on which characters they will play, but CoS moots the appealing idea that Watts could reprise her Mulholland Drive character Betty Elms in some awesome Lynchian intertextual mash-up.

Additionally, Lynch is rumoured to be reprising his recurring role from the original series as FBI Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole, as Deadline reports.

In November it was revealed that Lynch’s longtime muse Laura Dern would be joining the series in a ‘pivotal role’.
