Dr. Dre rumored to star in Apple’s first TV series
It features “at least one orgy scene.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dr. Dre has been tapped to star in and executive produce Apple’s first scripted series, the six-episode Vital Signs. The show being touted as a “dark, semi-autobiographical drama” that will “[focus] on a different emotion and how Dre’s character deals with it.” Sam Rockwell is also reportedly attached to the project.
Apple Music has already found success with streaming video via Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour documentary and the exclusive release of Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ video. Dre has been linked to the company since their purchase of Beats Audio in 2014. Last year, he premiered his album Compton exclusively through the streaming platform.
