A Nirvana fan favourite gets revived for a one-off performance.
Beck and Nirvana – that is, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and guitarist Pat Smear – paid tribute to David Bowie at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala in Beverly Hills last night.
The ad hoc supergroup performed a version of ‘The Man Who Sold The World’, a song which Kurt Cobain famously covered for MTV Unplugged in 1994. Check out some clips below.
Last year the surviving members of Nirvana performed with rock royalty Kim Gordon, Joan Jett and St. Vincent at their Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame induction, while the Kurt Cobain documentary Montage Of Heck treated fans to a previously unheard song from the band.
