A chilly meeting of minds.

Powell has remixed a track from JD Twitch’s recent So Low compilation, sinking his claws into the clank of 1980’s ‘49 Second Romance’ by German minimalists P1/E.

Twitch, aka Keith McIvor, enlisted the talents of cold wave fan Powell for his hard-as-nails reworking, which is out via The Vinyl Factory on March 18, with the b-side taking in a Helena Hauff remix of The Klink’s ‘Moving Hands’.

Unearthing some of cold wave’s lesser-known gems like Colin Potter and Gerry & The Holograms, the compilation also features a number of French and Belgian acts, including scene forerunners Front 242.

So Low is currently on sale from The Vinyl Factory site, and you can pre-order a copy of the remixes now.
