A rare Record Store Day gem to stick on your list.

Cavern of Anti-Matter, the new project from Stereolab founder Tim Gane, will release a remix 12″ on April 16 featuring two singular producers from the US.

On the A-side, the band’s ‘hi-hats bring the hiss’ gets a blown-speaker remix from Chicago acidhead Hieroglyphic Being, and on the B-side Michigan-via-London producer Karen Gwyer slows down ‘void beat’ to a “glacial shuffle”, the press release notes.

Hear a clip of Hieroglyphic Being’s remix below and look out for ‘void versions’ on 12″ clear vinyl on Record Store Day via Duophonic Records.

Cavern Of Anti-Matter’s epic 72-minute debut album came out last month and features Bradford Cox of Deerhunter, Sonic Boom and Jan St. Werner of Mouse On Mars. The band are heading out on tour this spring – check out their forthcoming dates under the video.
