Cruel Autumn?

iLoveMakonnen signed with Drake’s October’s Very Own imprint back in 2014, but since then his relationship with the label hasn’t been plain sailing. In an interview with FADER in December, Makonnen revealed that while he did “wish everyone well”, he was tired of what appeared to be a lack of communication.

Thankfully that seems to have been resolved, as during an interview with HuffPost Live he sheds light on the persistent rumors that an OVO group album could be in the works.

“I can’t say too much, but yeah, it exists, but we’ll just see when it comes out,” he reveals, cryptically, adding that it could drop in October, which would be fitting to say the least. Until then, we’ll have to be content with Drink More Water 6, which is set for release on March 18.
