“You can’t kill the Boogeyman.”

After unveiling first single ‘Distant Dreams’ last month, John Carpenter’s Lost Themes II album is now streaming in full.

As with Carpenter’s first solo album Lost Themes — released last year when he was 67 – this new LP was also made with the horror luminary’s son and godson. “I want to exploit their youth and become rich,” he told us in a FACT interview last year.

With track names like ‘Bela Lugosi’, ‘Angel’s Asylum’, ‘Utopian Facade’ and plenty of those perfectly ominous synths, Lost Themes II is classic Carpenter fare.

Not content with reactivating his music career and plotting more live performances (dates below), it was reported last year that the director is currently working on not one, but four TV shows.
