“Witness these sacred visions.”

Bishop Nehru has dropped ‘$acred Visions’, the first cut from his upcoming Magic 19 mixtape, which is due out June 3.

Another example of the NYC-based rap prodigy’s dextrous lyricism, the track namechecks Goosebumps’ author RL Stine at one point, in a smooth, easy-going rhyme. Listen below.

Speaking on the new mixtape, Nehru said: “Lately, I’ve been evolving. True evolution. New flows, new sounds.”

Bishop Nehru first surfaced in 2012 with his Nehruvia mixtape, quickly followed by 2013’s StrictlyFLOWZ. After being proclaimed “the future of music” at SXSW 2014 by Nas, who was at one point slated to oversee the 19-year-old’s debut album, he released a well-received collaborative album with DOOM, titled NehruvianDoom.

Check out our SXSW 2014 video interview with Nehru while you wait for the full mixtape to drop.
