The genesis of industrial music.

Back in 2011, Throbbing Gristle reactivated their Industrial Records and reissued five of albums as deluxe vinyl editions: The Second Annual Report, D.o.A: The Third & Final Report, Heathen Earth, 20 Jazz Funk Greats, and Throbbing Gristle’s Greatest Hits. Back by popular demand, those re-mastered albums are now being re-pressed again.

Industrial will also bring out another pressing of X-TG’s Desertshore/The Final Report, which was Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti’s 2012 tribute to their departed TG comrade Peter “Sleazy” Christopherson.

The records are out this week – check them out here.

Chris & Cosey reflected on the legacy of 20 Jazz Funk Greats for FACT after we named it the greatest album of the 1970s, while Genesis Breyer P-Orridge talked to us about radical art and pandrogyny.
