The Liverpool player’s favourite beat-maker is “definitely Southside, who is Future’s producer.”

England footballer Daniel Sturridge has sidelined with injury for much of the 2015/16 season, during which time he’s apparently picked up a new hobby – music production.

The striker told High Snobriety he’s been making “all different types – R&B, hip-hop, alternative and a little bit of house and dancehall.

“[My favourite producer is] definitely Southside, who is Future’s producer. There’s a guy called Screamer in Birmingham who is amazing. I’ve got a couple of guys that I don’t want to say no names because I need to keep them for myself, but those guys are sick – they know who they are.”

The footballer is a known rap fan, and has previously been photographed with Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR. He’s also cousins with Karl ‘Konan’ Wilson of Krept & Konan, who according to The Sun (via Complex), says Sturridge has been off-load beats on.

Whether the player can rival the MPC skills of former Barcelona keeper Jose Pinto remains to be seen.
