The upcoming DC comic book film may have gotten an extra superhero.

Young Thug will appear on the soundtrack to the upcoming film Suicide Squad. The news of his involvement comes from his sister, who revealed the rapper’s involvement on Twitter today. There is still no official word yet from the man himself.

2016 is shaping up to be the Thug’s biggest yet with his upcoming debut Hy!£UN35 on the way and a pair of excellent mixtapes already out.

Things are not quite as bright for Warner Bros. and their fledging DC Universe. The recent film Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice enjoyed a large opening weekend before hitting record making box-office drop-offs following a scathing critical and fan response. Suicide Squad, the followup, has recently begun extensive reshoots, but is still expected to be released August 5.
