We’re bringing Big Stormz to Brighton.
Stormzy is to headline the FACT showcase at this year’s Great Escape festival, leading a killer bill that also features West London crew WSTRN and North London rapper MoStack.
Taking place on Saturday May 21 at the Brighton Dome, R&B trio M.O are also set to perform at the event, between DJ sets by The Heavytrackerz and Splurgeboys. We know, we know – we spoil you. Stormzy’s debut album is expected to be released soon, after a video post teasing the release, seemingly titled ‘Scary’, appeared on Twitter and Instagram earlier this month. The 15-second clip – which features a studio control panel covered in polaroid photos and the MC lurking in the darkness – saw him preview a track featuring sinister choral vocals.

UPDATE: The Great Escape added another batch of artists to its bill today (April 14). Post-rock favourites Yndi Halda and Babeheaven are among the new additions, hitting the festival between May 19-21. See the full list of newly announced acts below:
