Update, April 28: Kesha and EDM artist Zedd are dropping a surprise collaboration this weekend.

The pair will release a new version of Zedd’s track ‘True Colors’ tomorrow (April 29), the song they performed together at Coachella.

It looks like Kesha has taken up Zedd’s offer of production help and is back in the studio.

Uploading a picture of herself in the studio yesterday (April 27), the singer wrote: “It’s a miracle when someone gives you a chance at finding your voice again.”  She then thanked Zedd for being a “fucking beautiful person with a heart of gold.” In February, the EDM star tweeted that he’d “happy to produce a song” for her and earlier this month the pair performed together at Coachella.

The Coachella performance was the first time Kesha had performed in public since a judge denied an injunction that would release her from her contract with Dr Luke.

Amid her ongoing legal battle with the producer, last month Kesha announced she was writing new music.

It has since been announced that the singer will be performing at a tribute concert in honour of Bob Dylan’s 75th birthday, taking place in Nashville on May 23 and 24.
