Alicia Keys premieres second new song in a week.

Having unveiled her first new song since 2012 on Wednesday, ‘In Common’, Alicia Keys was the featured performer on this week’s Saturday Night Live. Alongside a live performance of ‘In Common’, Keys also debuted a second new song, the gospel-tinged ‘Hallelujah’.

The last we had heard of Keys before ‘In Common’ was her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar in 2014 for ‘It’s On Again’, a song for The Amazing Spider-man 2 soundtrack. Her five-year old son with producer Swizz Beatz, Egypt Dean, made his own beginnings in the music world earlier this year with production credits on Lamar’s untitled unmastered and studio sessions with Q-Tip.

You can watch both of Alicia Keys’ performances below, as well as a skit about holograms of deceased singers covering modern pop songs that includes Roy Orbison doing Justin Bieber and Lesley Gore doing Nicki Minaj’s ‘Dance (A$$)’. [Via Pitchfork]
